But, just say for a moment that I was ....

I could see myself being reasonably philosophical about it, if I thought for a minute that the extra tax revenue would actually be used for something worthwhile like paying nurses a more reasonable wage, or training better social workers or something. That would be a very Me sort of reaction.

But knowing that every penny will be used to fill a f**king yawning chasm of debt, or be hoovered up by the MP's snouts-in-the-trough attitude to allowances and expenses would make me incapable of my normal reaction.

MPs: I s**t them.
