oh and, the bit about wanting the best, i agree

its that part of teh game that's putting me off now.
Seems to me to be much more about demanding instant success than it used to be, or that more are doing it.

I know we are not that bad yet, adn there are reasosn for our fans to be hacked off.
However, hearing half time boo's at nil nil and stuff like that, people refusing to generate and atmosphere untill they are 'entertained' etc saddens me.

Its not the way i was bought up on the game, its not what i beleive my role as a fan entails.
Things may change back, it could be the game, it could be society i don't know.
We didn't get up be having a great side, we had hucks, who was stand out, after that we were steady.
The biggest thing of that season for me will always remain the support, the belief that used to flood from the stands that if we went 1 down, we'd come back.

That isn't there now.
I know that's largely because we are s**t, and i do it myself, but i do think there are times when as a set of fans we could do more.
Hey ho, I still enjoy it though.
