Gunn arrived in the middle of a transfer window

there could be an argument that a manager on a short-term contract shouldn't be signing players on a permanent basis (though there is the re-signing of Spillane which doesn't entirely fit in with that)

i never had a particular problem with the Henville signing either though, he was a cheap gamble that didn't pay off, i'm not about to start slagging Gunn off for making a similar (and in all probability, more expensive) mistake with Killen
