I think the Henville bloke became an issue

because of Glenn Roeder's insistence on using loan players, even bloody young guys that we weren't going to play but let train with us - henville. His stated policy was loan players. Therefore the failures became a sore point in a way that won't happen with Gunn.

With Gunn it can't be an issue yet as he has arrived following a transfer window so has had no choice. We've needed a striker so he gambled on this guy who then turned out to be s**te. Big deal. Glenn left him with no strikers so he made a gamble. It failed.

The two things aren't comparable imo.
