eBay Inc are the OWNERS of Paypal.
Therefore if Paypal make a profit then that contributes towards eBay's profit.
I do not have a Paypal account and so eBay are not "ripping (me) off".

Paypal's "business model" is online transactions, usually same-day. Holding onto funds when a transfer- out is requested is just a means of discouraging this practice and maximising the performance of funds held in PayPal accounts.

Pretending to be a know-it-all smart-ar5e has its draw-backs, especially when you are plainly not.
