You suggest EBay are ripping you off by holding payment for a few days.

Ebay is a holding group. One of its divisions, so I hear, is PayPal. Their business model is to make payment easier for you on the terms that it will take 3 to 5 days to clear, allowing them to make money whilst holding it.

So why complain ? Google does worse with Adsense.
