okay , so in that situation

why sanction loan signings that just don;t add to the squad quality - Koroma , Field Marshall , sibierski to name the three that came to mind - surely letting Jamie go to Barnsley as well as Spillane and MArtin was not a cost effective move in the ooverall scheme of things

I assume Managerial pay offs take a large proprtion of the costs though - we had to pay off Roeder , Stephenson and that other guy as well - sure the contracts were lucrative for them to re locate from Newcastle
