I went to a car boot sale once, encouraged by those antiques programmes

that lead you to believe that every car boot sale is stuffed with undiscovered gems

What a ghastly experience. I've had more fun at the dentist. Most of what was for sale was utter tat and quite a lot of seemed to have been stolen.

Mind you, this was in Sarf Lunnon. Maybe if I try the Tunbridge Wells one it'll be all twee.
