If it's a fresh pc, it will have nothing on but the operating system I guess

From there it's up to the user to install adobe or flash players, real players etc

Also if no updates are on it, then I guess windows update will pick up on the fact it's not right. I'm guessing simply downloading flash will too, as it will demand you use the right resolution, and will either other to do it itself for you, or tell you where to go

When install win2k, I usually stick the bt broadband cd in because that installs a load of drivers which change the resolution and install flash and stuff. From there I'm usually good to go
