but thinks it shouldn't be a problem as even a wet shower curtain isn't that heavy so you shouldn't need to recess an anchor into the wall (unless you intend to do pull-ups on it). A quick look around, you might want to consider putting loops or hooks on the end of the wire and using something like the eye part of this:
