I'm having a new bathroom done, instead of a big, thick

plastic shower rail pole from which the shower curtain hangs, I want a slim, sleek piece of stainless steel wire attached from one wall to the other, the length of the bath.
Can you ask him if this can be done &, hard to describe, but without it looking 'unsightly' ie great big bolts sticking out of either wall etc.
