It's the Google O/S. To be honest I wouldn't be interested early on, but the

difference is of course that it is open source, so the advantage will be that eventually there will be a lot of free software out there. Disadvantage will be that it is open source so you have to research what you install.

I think after 18 months and a couple of revisions it will compete with the iPhone based on the availability of tools and software for free but not before as it will of course be unstable and have limited software.
