We have pretty rubbish TV reception on portables, upstairs and downstairs

But my DAB, downstairs in the kitchen works fine.

It burbles with interference when the washing machine is on, but not too much.

I ought to add that BBC reception is good, but the reception I get on some of the commercial stations isn't very good at all. But since I only listen to the BBC (pathological hatred of commercial radio) it doesn't really matter.
