What I really can't stand about Delia Smith is this: whilst we were

riding high she was always on view wearing that smug "you've got me to thank for all this" look, (and perhaps we had to some extent). Now correct me if I'm wrong, but is it not a fact that the only time she has shown herself to the massed fans this year was at half time against Wolves when we were playing a blinder and when she was confident of a good reception? I'd like to have heard the crowds reaction to her on Tuesday evening if she had had the courage to waltz (stagger?) on. A large number amongst a 24000 crowd booing and chanting "Delia out" would most likely have been the reponse...and not something her publicity machine would want to risk...
