Maybe a bit idealistic and simple in the days of pro zone and super tactis etc, but it works!!
FOotball is a simple game complicated by people. ALl this changing formation and personnel depending on teh opposition I disagree with, let them worry about us! Also stick to teh same eleven where possible, for a run of games!
I run a Saturday side and pick my team precisley on the principles you have stated!!
