Be very careful of static!

Touch the metal chasis of the PC before trying to do anything inside. Or wear one of those grounding wrist band thingies.

Since your troubles started with installing the new RAM, try removing it and reinstalling the old RAM (if necessary). With RAM I think you have to make sure that they are all of the same type - your new RAM may not work with your old RAM if it's faster or something. So you could also try installing the RAM modules one by one.
