shame that it didn't actually answer the question. Does the 'spent' budget actually include the contingency of the loan players' fees for the season, given that we were told, for example with Bertrand, that we would have taken him on season long but Chelsea wanted the option of recall. Or with Sibs that he came in too late for a season-long. Or was the money that was originally allocated for this potential scenario reallocated and so there is no way that they will be coming back. Given all we've been told about the size of the playing budget, I think it's unlikely that the business would reallocate spend.
