Sacking walker was harsh in the extreme.
Hamilton was a disaster as was Grant.
I can forgive Grant though because even now there are STILL fans banging on about how we need to find a young manager.
Well we tried that.
Did it work? no.
However we'll be far from the first club to take a chance on someone and get it wrong.
Grant is back in work as a coach so his reputation as a coach is obviously still intact, which played a large part in getting the job here.
Football clubs always have and always will make mistakes, its not an exact science. Whether its Transfers or managers there is simply no way to be right all the time.
Even Sir Alex has bought his fair share of s**t over the years, many of who go back to the continent and find form again.
Again though, even if you want to condemn them for those choices, if they were richer the damage would have been much much less.
