Ian Crook

When he was here and at his peak, both Chelsea and Tottenham (the latter wanted him back) asked after him but we said "no thanks" and the man himself, an early-Hucks, said he was happy at Norwich and didn't want to move on anyway.

Anyway...was watching some of the NCFC 150 Great Goals DVD yesterday and the ones he was involved with. Stunning! Vision and accuracy of passing, when he played a ball through, he had that little habit of leaning back at he played the ball with his arms extended.

Certainly one of the best players we have ever had, but would struggle if he was with us now and probably be asked to track back else bang it long, hard, and high to the big man we haven't got anyway.

He and Flecky were made for each other.
