the first of those three and the latter two (which are bollocks).
We were/are one of the bookies favourites (THE favourites with some). We SHOULD be beating teams like Crewe at home (just like Chelsea SHOULD beat temas like us at home). What we aren't is entitled to expect to beat them just by turning up. If both teams play to the best of their ability we ought to win, but if we play below par (like Man U here last year) then we'll get what we deserve. We haven't won a game yet because we've played below our best for whatever reasons. No-one could argue with that. If you are saying it's wrong to say we should be betaing Crewe because their players are as good as ours then why are paying ours so much more? And if our players ARE better (as our wage bill would suggest) then surely we SHOULD be beating them?
