May I suggest.....

Deliberately leave it on a public bus or train seat with a sticker adhered to it with "Government Very Personal Information" or "MOD Top Secret"....in big red letters.

Some concerned member of the public will probably take it to a tabloid newspaper - who will then use a professional hacker to gain access to said laptop.....Then, pop along to tabloid office and reclaim your mislaid laptop, and ask the hacker for a few quid could he/she could possibly give you the admin password?

Or failing that, get your own friggin' laptop you tight arse!
