Yes, but stroke her for too long and she throws a hissy fit becuase everything has to be on her terms, unless she's hungry in which case she will even put up with being petted by my 20 month old son, to him petting means grinning like a maniac and hitting her -all done affectionately though

i don't know what a Westler's hot dog looks like, but if it looks like most other hot dog sausages, then yes

yes, that is a bit annoying, i put it in Mrs Abat's hair. that, for her, is also annoying.
