he wasn't our first choice though...

we only opted for him because West Brom pipped us to james O'Connor (one of our several lucky breaks that summer). I think his injury problems is what dissuaded teams. Agree he was a great buy though - we got promoted and made a whopping great profit on selling him - so I will happily add him to my list.
