Eagle is an investment in our future. Any contribution he makes to the first team is a bonus.

Troy is *only* here because of what he gives the first team this year. Anything else benefits Spurs, not us.

As for whether it's worth keeping a player around that we have decided will never play for us - I would have thought the answer is obviously no. But also, I'd also have thought that we should be working hard to pesuade Spurs that it's in their interests to renegotiate. Hopefully we are.

Anyway, sorry for rather boringly going on about this. I just can't remember a loanee ever coming here and never playing a single game before. Doubt it's ever happened.
