The one gb example I used above
is because I tried to store 800 photos totally 300mb, onto a 1gb drive, with no folders
After that I went to copy some more, and it won't let me do anything else
After creating some folders, there's 3000 on it
I sound like I've answered my question, just wondered the techy side of it, because I'll just let the dcm folder of the camera pile up in future without thinking about it
