I agree, but that's how its going these days.

We want success and we want it now.
We are told so often that is how it should be, and we say other clubs getting rich quick and making a success of it, we want the same.

The days when football was all about hope has gone.
When I first started going i could 'hope' we might challenge the top 4 or 5 in the top league.

That's not a hope anymore, its a total bloody fantasy.

That frustrates and alienates fans because it is so so so hard for clubs to progress now.

In times past you could have a bad year, make a couple of good signings, for not much cash, and suddenly go from bottom half to top half.

That can happen in the Championship, much less likely in the prem.
