sit in front of the back four and play the ball about, leaving Hughes to do the running about bit, but Charlie did the complete opposite and left Hughes sitting back which is not playing to either of their (minimal) strengths. This obviously led to a lot of the problems for Flem and Doc as they had no protection (or outlet) in front of them.
