I know the official site has always left a bit to be desired
but having such a high proportion of video content now is really winding me up. These aren't insightful ground-breaking items where live interview is going to reveal something a reported story wouldn't - it's just a cheap way of not actually having to write anything. The content could be read as a news item in about 10 seconds, but instead of which you have to sit through minutes of dreary sameness. Fair enough to have the odd moment - as captured live - but not to the extent that it's become recently.
