I've always said that.
And posted it before. Maybe he didn't fit in or wasn't happy, but for my money he was a much better player than Brown and probably also Curtain. He certainly didn't get the time on the pitch to settle in or get match sharp. Added to that he was a foreign player at a time when it seemed that we couldn't accommodate anyone remotely different. With an inexperienced manager / coach out of his depth.
By the way, do we not now have the most foreign players we've ever had?
