Leaving aside the generalisation made about Jamaican's

It is probably right to say that quite a large proportion of people in this country would probably not be happy if their traditionally white neighbourhood became populated by a large imigrant population over a very short space of time thus completely changing its character. Many would probably look to leave and it would probably have an effect on property values so if that is his point then yes he's probably right.
