Setanta are gambling

they are spending big money on acquiring rights in teh hope of getting more subscribers. Obviously Prem football alone doesn't do it - people with Sky already get Prem football and might not want to pay extra just for more - so they need more. England games (which include World Cup qualifiers so not just meaningless ones) and FA Cup games are what they have plumped for this year. Apparently they need 300k more subscribers.
