As can be true of other offensive people too on occasion. What else can be said of someone who, when winning his seat in 2001, instructed his supporters to "go back to your constituencies and prepare for breakfast"?

I'm hardly right wing or a Tory voter myself - but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate a maverick like him.
