Well who else's mistake is it?

As the clamour for him to go mounted all they said was that they wanted "stability and continuity". Fair enough. But why then sanction a transfer policy that was the antithesis of that?
My belief is that they would have sacked him in December 2005 had they been able to.
It is the board's fault if they hopelessly over-estimate their revenues, it's the board's fault if they spend money on an academy without considering whether it would produce anything.
