The team has the following problems:

1) I have doubts about our options on the right side of midfield: Croft's crossing and passing leaves a lot to be desired and Chadwick spends more time on the injury table than he does on the pitch in a Norwich shirt. Chadwick never really impressed me when fit. Croft's work rate and commitment is fantastic, however, I do doubt whether he is good enough at times.

2) Our strike force is starting to look one dimensional. Having gone to Coventry on Saturday, I feel a target is something we need. Also, a striker who knows how to score would be quite handy too.

3) Cureton is past it and will score less than 10 goals this season. We need a recognized goal-scorer in the team and I can see why Roeder kept him, however, given the amount of criticism Cureton received from Roeder last season, I'm surprised Roeder didn't get rid of him.

4) Jason Shackell is still a Norwich City player.

5) Roeder's use of the loan market last season was excellent, however, I don't like the idea of trying to construct a side using other club's players. As a result, we don't have a settled side and I can't see us achieiving much this season. We need a settled team and preferably one with players in it we can call our own.

6) When all the loan players have returned to their parent clubs, we will be back to square one and if you consider the players we have at the club on a permanent basis, I am not exactly filled with confidence.

7) Our attacking play lacks emphasis.

Apologies for sounding negative but I feel these points had to be made.
