I'm not talking about one example
I'm talking about after a game we've lost when you roll about 5 criticisms into one, and act like you knew what was best for the game before hand
From there you spiral your questioning, to the point where you think if it happens the next game, he's lost the plot
You don't stop to think that some games where it all went wrong, are the startign point to where it all might go right one day
This is how Worthington lost it here, he was so intent to repeat the play offs and promotion, he got himself in all of a tiz, and instead of giving someone a chance for a few games, would revert back to what worked 2 seasons ago, and that meant things like playing fleming when he was past it, signing players like hughes because it was the safe thing to do, and we were playing long ball
Grant tried to do things for the right reasons too, and had the right ideas, but the pressure also got to him, and he spectacularly lost it, but he didn't at first.
At first he was actually forming a team that looked like he had foundation ie, imagine fozzy, etuhu, huckerby and russell in midfield. It would have been a great thing. Instead Dickson left and Brellier wasn't the right replacement. Then Earnshaw left and Cureton didn't live up to it at all. Both came with good pedigree and the right reasons, it just didn't work
Then fozzy got injured
I'm not arguing with you about what I think or you think about Grant, I'm talking about how managers format ideas and build a team
You've acknowledged that you think the signings so far this season are good, fair enough, but its when you're going to start doing your aftermatch run down about how the team f**ked it up, and how Roeder's going like grant and is clueless that gets to me (and others I guess)
All that's happened pre season is you've turned the way you are about Roeder onto Delia, and since this announcement, you're on here day after day, claiming this that and the other about Delia, and you're being told things that are the truth
When the thread ends, it starts again later, and you say the same things, and the same things are said back to you, and this goes on till you annoy everyone, or they have a go at me for biting at you
In summary, everything at this club isn't just some bomb going off day to day, it's alright really
Yes they don't match your expectations, but then again your expectations are too high
It doesn't mean you have to be paranoid and go looking for the conspiracy in every single little nook and cranny like you do after a game
