No, expect them to do exactly as they have done, particuarly given their track record

Nothing public, but detailed behind-the-scenes briefing of the journalists they trust, in order to make sure the story emerges the way they want it to.

Standard stuff - press management, if you're sympathetic to them, spin if you're not.

But they shouldn't get any credit for being cleaner than clean (and no-one should think that what they read on Myfootballwriter.com is a balanced view of the story).
