He can buy a "pay as you go" sim and put it in any phone that's not locked. I'm only suggesting Mobinil because said "Totty" is on their network and she's sms'ing me from there. However, Dahab is covered by all networks so frankly, Etisalat and Vodafone will also work there too. The cost?, generally about 45p a minute off peak. Pre paid cards come in 5,10, and 20 quid denominations. But he ha the net too, Skype is great here too if he brings a laptop.
Oh and I agree, "Totty over Wrathy anyday" =)
