The ?5 million was help avoid relegation last season. The ?15 million was to be available "this season to make (NCFC) strong contenders for promotion to the Premiership". So it reads to me as if he would have been taking control in the last few weeks. But similarly to what would have happened in '96 if we had been relegated at the very least everything would have had to be renegotiated.
