I thought only 'ordinary' shares had voting rights attached...

... and therefore they are the 'valuable' ones in terms of who has control. Mine were nominally ?1 each, I bought them in the share issue for ?25, and I guess they're worth whatever someone's willing to pay.... and which the board are valuing at ?16M
