Working out OSX versions....

the latest version of OSX is 10.5, its really Mac OS15 but Mac liked the look of OSX on the box and just kept updating 10 with a number after it:
10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 10.5 (latest)

Tey then put a further number after it detailing which update of it it is-

eg. 10.5.4 (OS10 - major update 5 - minor update 4)

Go to the Apple icon on top left and go down to ABOUT THIS MAC and it'll tell you which version you are using.

Sometimes performing a software update online will sort it out if it is awidely found problem.
