FAO Thomo
Sounds similar to what they said when I went into HSBC this morning.
He said that basically i didnt have a leg to stand on in the argument because i went overdrawn without permission and therefore its my fault and they are well within their rights to charge me for it.
However like yours he said that £85 was a bit steep considering what had happened and that it was the first time id done it and he said hopefully even if he cant wipe the charge completely, he is going to talk to the manager about getting it reduced.
