I had this problem too.

I even took it back to the shop but the replacement did the same. My glitch was, and obviously it may not be the same as yours, was, it would only take so many individual tracks, (don't know why), but breaking them up into folders allowed the full capacity to be used. Probably no help to you, but you never know. Best of luck.
