my son plays for an under 8 team in Norwich

2 of his teammates are at the PDC ( player Development Centre ) 1 is the boy who can kick teh ball straightest and Hardest , but has very little skill , the other will dribble past 5 players and then fall over

Neither knows how to take a proper throw in - which you might have expected to be on the agenda there

so I don;t believe the academy is all it is cracked up to be - besides , I have never seen any scouts at any match my boy has played - several brownies .....
