Jagielka because he was a midfielder only recently converted and, while having had a good season, you would think he would need a bit more European experience. On the other hand, if Capello thinks the best thing is to give him international friendly experience then you can't get a better game than T & T to give him his first taste, so fair enough. I guess another thought is that his versatility could also be invaluable in a 26-man squad... Could save us a couple of places to take one more flair player like Walcott.

Downing's crossing is well known, but I was surprised by his interplay. He did that better last night than I have seen him before in an England shirt. But then, it was T & T.
