Very strictly true. You can modify your diet to make the

impact of exercise more efficient, but you can't avoid the most important part which is, of course, exercise.

And you can't cut out all the carbs, protein, etc - your body needs the energy to burn when exercising.

Mate, I've coached American Football for 10 years and can't remember one player we've slimmed down with diet alone.
