Aviva

Norwich Union merged with CGU in 2000 and they were called CGNU. Then they rebranded CGNU as Aviva. However, Aviva kept using (and still does) the brand name Norwich Union in the UK becuase Aviva is such a w**ky name.

Aviva is a strong company with massive growth potential in Asia.

In terms of UK domestic insurance I wouldn't touch Norwich Union with a barge pole. Overpriced premiums and their administration is total shyte. IMHO.
