Once upon a time, i remember digging a hole in my dad's garden, because he had a tree that wouldn't die and the roots were starting to go under the foundations.

I dug the hole, took out my drill and put a few 8mm holes angled downwards into the roots. then i filled the f**ker with diesel.

Hey presto, 2 weeks later we had the council out to take down the tree as it had died and was considered dangerous and might fall either towards the house or onto the street.

Then we all lived happily ever after,

well a bit.
