...they had to get a certain number of orders to even put it into production, and we were told you had to pre-order to be in with a chance of getting one.

The fact they've got them in the club shop at £20 at the moment suggests they bought up the surplus for the order to go ahead themselves and are having to sell them off to get some cash back.

A dreadful idea of a marketing scam really - they should just have season ticket holders names on the away shirts like a few clubs appear to have adopted. Reward us that way rather than trying to make us buy more from what is a dreadful selection of tat...
