Sportband

In a nutshell the sensor is an accelerometer and the Sportband is the receiver. No GPS involved. You can calibrate it to get an accurate reading as possible. A recent run I did was 2.9 miles, the Sportband recorded 2.8. Not bad considering there's no GPS involved.
