agree but it does seem that the 'event' isn't really under
club control - presumably they've bought a package. Explains Pat Murphy and Richard Keys - couldn't work out why we'd chosen them as hosts. What worries me is financial effect- daresay there's a reasonable outlay and yet little return. I would have paid to go to a Greatest Ever dinner/daft game/similar but not to this as 30 minutes of poor pop interspersed with a quick wave from Kevin Keelan is just not interesting. Poor old Darren being roped in too - should get a new contract just for subjecting himself!
